Furnace repair: won't turn on
Nine times out of ten a furnace repair like this is a limit switch, flame sensor, thermocouple, igniter, or a clogged filter tripping high-limit safety. We check the whole ignition sequence, the safeties, and the gas train.
Boiler is running but not heating
Usually air in the loop, a stuck circulator, or a bad zone valve. Sometimes low water pressure or a bad expansion tank. We bleed, purge, and test — and if it needs a part, we tell you.
Short cycling — heat kicks on and off
Almost always a dirty flame sensor, oversized system, or blocked airflow. We measure static pressure and temperature rise to prove the diagnosis, not guess.
Heat pump blowing cold air
Reversing valve, defrost board, or low refrigerant charge. We measure superheat and subcool, check the reversing solenoid, and read the defrost cycle logs.
